The Chairman of the web site committee is appointed by, and reports
to, the Board of Directors. The purpose of the web site committee is to
manage the content of the web site at knollsvillage.com. The purposes of
the web site at knollsvillage.com are:
(1) To provide accurate, relevant information, in a timely manner, to
members, and potential future members, of The Knolls Village Townhouse
Association.
(2.) To provide an archive, with public access, for those records of the
Association that the Board of Directors decide to be included there.
(3) To provide an additional means of communication between Homeowners,
Directors, Association Officials, and Committee Chairmen.
Committee Responsibilities
Prepare a proposed annual budget for the web site committee and give a copy of it to the Association Treasurer before the first day of September in the year before the budget is to become applicable.
Manage, maintain and keep up to date the website at knollsvillage.com. Contact and coordinate with the web server administrator as appropriate.
Put on the Web Site any documents that the Board of Directors decide to be included on it.
Receive minutes of all meetings from the Association President , and post them on the web site.
Receive the agenda for Board meetings from the Association President, and post it on the web site.
Maintain the web site calendar, using inputs from the Board, officials of the Association, and Committee Chairmen.
Receive the newsletter from the publisher of the newsletter and post it on the web site.
Maintain the KVTA documents on the web site and make any corrections required to keep the documents accurate and up to date.
Receive the yearly budget from the Association Treasurer, and post it on the web site.
Contact the chairperson of each committee once each month to gather news of that committee's activities and request that they examine the web site and report any inaccurate information on the web site that is related to that committee's activities. Use the information gathered to update the web site as appropriate.
Recruit new members for the web site committee and train them on committee operation.
