HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES

The hospitality committee chairperson is appointed by and reports to the board. The committee organizes social events for the association; and serves as the "welcoming committee" to new residents of the community. It is recommended the committee consist of a minimum of 3 persons: chairperson and 2 members; and meets at the direction of the chairperson.

COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Propose an annual budget.
• Oversee social events for the association
• Coordinate and distribute New Resident Packets.

DUTIES:

• Chairperson
  1. Preside at committee meetings.
  2. Maintain minutes of committee meetings.
  3. Attend monthly board meetings and submit a report.
  4. Submit recommendations to the board.
  5. Submit expenses to business secretary for payment.
• Committee
  1. Plan and host social events with board approval.
  2. Coordinate and host Labor Day Picnic.
  3. Develop and submit notices/articles for the newsletter; and posters for the community.
  4. Prepare and/or collect enclosures for New Resident Packets.
     1. Enclosures to include: welcoming letter, copy of covenants, Association rules and regulations, Village map, roster of Association board and committees, community related info, etcetera.
     2. Evaluate and update enclosures as needed.
