BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ REGULAR MEETING
THE KNOLLS VILLAGE TOWNHOUSE ASSOCIATION

A regular meeting of the Knolls Village Townhouse Association was held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the association clubhouse at 6:30 PM. Present were Directors Loren Rohl, Barbara Stokes, Joe Johnston, Dick Campbell, Doug Hall and Rick Olson; Committee Chair Don Boyson; and Harold Arnold. Joan Rowe was present to record the proceedings.

Joe Johnston made a motion to approve the minutes of the February 3, 2009 board meeting as written. The motion was seconded by Barbara Stokes and was passed.

An e-mailed report from Fred Langford, Web-site Manager, stated that the January minutes, the February newsletter and the March meeting agenda have been posted to the web-site.

Doug Hall, Treasurer, reported that the reserve portfolio totals $429,373.00 and the painting fund totals $56,733.63. For now, funds from maturing CD’s and T-bills will remain in the money market fund.

Don Boyson, Architectural Control Committee, stated that owners will be reminded to have repairs completed prior to painting. One ninety-day notice has been sent.

Harold Arnold, filling in for Warren Deutsch, presented the proposals for the asphalt and concrete projects for 2009. Harold also presented areas for a landscape water conservation projects at driveway entrances.

A motion was made by Dick Campbell and seconded by Barbara Stokes to contract with Metro Pavers for the asphalt and concrete projects for 2009. The motion was passed.

Barbara Stokes made a motion to have two driveway entrances selected to be re-landscaped for water conservation for an amount not to exceed $1,000.00. The Board will look at the areas and determine if any remaining areas should be re-landscaped. The motion was seconded by Dick Campbell and was passed.

The updated reserve study was reviewed. The 2008 audit report draft was e-mailed to the Board members. The members will review and e-mail acceptance to Loren Rohl, before the next meeting.
