BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ ANNUAL MEETING
THE KNOLLS VILLAGE TOWNHOUSE ASSOCIATION 

The annual meeting of the Knolls Village Townhouse Association was held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the association clubhouse at 7:30 PM.  Present were directors Loren Rohl, Barbara Arnold, Kathleen Sutton, Barbara Stokes and Cheryl Scher; Committee Chairs Harold Arnold, Marilyn Heinle and Don Boyson; and Manager Warren Deutsch.  Joan Rowe was present to record the proceedings.  Approximately 18 homeowners were also present at the meeting. 

The purpose of the meeting was to elect two directors to replace Kathleen Sutton and Barbara Stokes. 

Opening remarks were made by President Loren Rohl.  Treasurer Barbara Arnold presented the 2007 budget and answered questions from the homeowners present at the meeting. 

The Board stated that a policy for resolution of disputes is being formulated.   

Two volunteers have expressed interest in filling the two open positions on the Board:  Barbara Stokes and Richard Olson.  Nominations were opened to the floor.  There being no nominations, Don Boyson made a motion to cease nomination and to vote the slate of candidates unanimously,  The motion was seconded by Dave Day and was passed.  Barbara Stokes and Richard Olson will serve three-year terms.

BUSINESS MEETING

A brief meeting of the directors was held after the annual meeting.  Present were Loren Rohl, Barbara Arnold, Barbara Stokes, Cheryl Scher, Richard Olson, Warren Deutsch and Joan Rowe. 

A motion was made by Barbara Arnold and seconded by Cheryl Scher to approve the snow removal contract from American Civil Constructors for the 2006/2007 season.  The motion was passed.

The election of officers for 2006/2007 will be held at the November 7, 2006 meeting.

A Planning meeting for the Board will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the clubhouse from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.  

A request for a memorial on the common property will be considered after a revised plan is submitted.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
