BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ ANNUAL MEETING
THE KNOLLS VILLAGE TOWNHOUSE ASSOCIATION
The annual meeting of the Knolls Village Townhouse Association was held on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the association clubhouse at 7:30 PM. Present were directors Loren Rohl, Barbara Arnold, Ken Holloman, Kathleen Sutton, Martin Jepkes, Bob Evans and Barbara Stokes; Committee Chairs Harold Arnold, Marilyn Heinle, Don Boyson and Ilena Lea; and Manager Warren Deutsch. Joan Rowe was present to record the proceedings. Approximately 23 homeowners were also present at the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to elect three directors to replace Ken Holloman, Martin Jepkes and Bob Evans.
Opening remarks were made by President Loren Rohl. Treasurer Barbara Arnold stated that the 2006 budget was included in the newsletter and that the Finance Committee’s goal is to keep the reserve fund at $400,000.00 or above.
The retiring members of the Board were thanked for their service.
Long-time Clubhouse Committee member, Elda Pfretzschner, was also
recognized for fifteen years of volunteering.
The candidates at the meeting were Bob Lea, Cheryl Scher and Dick
Campbell. Don Rothschild was not present at the meeting. The proxies
were collected and counted by Kathleen Sutton and Mary Dow. One hundred
thirty-four (134) proxies were received and the following were elected
to the Board for three-year terms: Dick Campbell, Don Rothschild and
Cheryl Scher.
BUSINESS MEETING
A brief meeting of the directors was held after the annual meeting. Present were Loren Rohl, Barbara Arnold, Kathleen Sutton, Barbara Stokes, Dick Campbell, Cheryl Scher, Warren Deutsch and Joan Rowe.
The association denies liability for tire replacement claim from the homeowner who drove through the cones during the crack-filling project.
A motion was made by Barbara Arnold and seconded by Barbara Stokes to approve the snow removal contract from American Civil Constructors for the 2005/2006 season. The motion was passed.
The election of officers for 2005/2006 will be held at the November 1, 2005 meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
